Poem 14 (The Reply to I want you back)

I’m sorry. I do love you. But while I never had a boyfriend as sweet as you I just can’t see a future with you. With you, I demand more attention then you have to give. You already give too much. I know you’re willing to make sacrifices. But I don’t want to be a distraction from your goals. I hope you understand, we are just too different. This relationship isn’t a computer you could just fix. You are an amazing man and it’s your work ethic that makes you that. Do you know, I haven’t been out dancing once since we’ve been together? Yes, I have my dance classes, but I haven’t really danced. I know you wouldn’t mind me going out. But I can’t leave you at home while I’m out having fun. It just doesn’t seem fair to me. I know what it’s like to make sacrifices. I gave you my heart when it meant my mom would take hers back. I don’t want you sacrificing yourself for me. For the sake of me don’t feel bad. please don’t call. don’t respond. Don’t love me. I love you. I don’t want me for you. I don’t want this for you. Happiness is all I want for you. We can’t be here. We can’t be.
